Here are some EverQuest utilities.

EQDKP Plus

  • EQDKP Plus - DKP stands for Dragon Kill Points, which are just a name for awarding points to guild members for attending raids and tracking loot purchases. EQdkp Plus supports a lot of Games, you can easily connect it with your board and it's a full featured CMS.

Legality

Are third party programs allowed by Daybreak? The answer is yes, as long as they don't cheat. Here is a quote about it:

I'm not gonna create a list of approved programs, however I will say that common sense is more than enough to tell if you are cheating.

Parsing - Not cheating

Item Collectors - Not cheating

Program that has autofire button (and you are still in the general vicinity of the keyboard) - Not cheating

Swimming on auto-run into a corner to raise up swimming - Not cheating

Cheating - not allowed.

If it's reasonable and not unfair it's not cheating. If it gives you an unfair advantage and allows you to do things that can't be normally done in game it's cheating.

GamTextTriggers

GamTextTriggers is an overlay tool which searchs for phrases in your log, when found will trigger a graphic or audio response. GamTextTriggers is similar to the in game audio triggers, but the result can be a timer counting down, a line of text flashed up on screen, playing an audio file, or using text-to-speech to speak some text for you.

GINA

Introducing Gimagukk's Incantatory Notation Apparatus (GINA), a log monitoring application that provides audio and visual feedback based on triggers you either define or import. GINA builds on many of the great features introduced by Gamanern of GamboSoft.com in GamTextTriggers like Text to Speech, text overlays, and in-game trigger sharing, and adds on features such as multiple character monitoring, trigger organization, and more sharing options. GINA is primarily developed with EverQuest in mind, but theoretically may work with other log-based programs as well.
