Strats:

The goal for this event is to protect both Firiona and Lanys' forces, allowing the battle to play out as intended and not the way the discordians want.

Phase 1

The first phase is triggered when anybody moves west from the zone in spot. Firiona and Lanys' teams will give a few zone emotes and then 3 Kyvs will spawn. These 3 kyvs will auto-balance themselves, if one is taken more than 5ish percent lower it will heal up to the highest. When all 3 are at 75% they despawn briefly and then respawn. Take them to 50% and they despawn and respawn again. Take them to 25% for one more despawn. Then kill them.

Phase 2

The second phase automatically starts after a set amount of time from triggering the event. Four camps will spawn each containing 1 priest and 3 ritualists. This can occur while the kyvs are still up if your dps is low. Shortly after you will get a zone emote like:

  • A dark energy begins to build to the *direction* of the combatants
  • At this point the priest in the direction given will begin to drain the life energy out of one of the guys you need to protect. That priest and the ritualists must then be engaged to prevent the drain. If too many life drain emotes occur, you lose. If you tether the priest the event bugs and the drain can not be prevented, causing a loss.

After a set period of time a second direction emote fires and that priest and ritualists must be engaged, followed by a third and fourth emote. Additionally if a priest is agro'd before its direction is called, it will start giving off drain emotes without waiting for its direction to be called so avoid agroing early.

The ritualists have some fairly nasty AEs including a fire based DD + Dot, a cold base snare + spell slow + slow + dot, and an auto-refreshing viral dot named Dark Energy. Dark Energy has 8 corruption counters and needs to be cured. The other two are not curable except by radiant cure.

    Phase 3

When all four priests are dead a timer starts. After a set time General Bahgresh spawns (regardless if any ritualists are still alive). While visually impressive he is nothing special except for significant melee dps and should pose no problem. Lockout and flags are generated when it dies.
