Resnel is looking to see what makes the mephits do what they do. He sends you to Lichen Creep to harvest 4 mephit minds from the deranged ones. These mephits are non-kos, don't flee, and won't assist anything besides other deranged mephits. The drop rate is LOW, so expect to spend some time farming. Once you have 4 hand them in to Resnel and hail him to complete the task.
