Trustworthy[edit source]

I have gone ahead and changed your status to Trustworthy, which means you no longer have to prove you are human to edit. Thank you for your edits. Fanra (talk) 23:31, 2 October 2015 (EDT)

Thanks! I think I edited here before, but I couldn't remember my old account name. It might have been on a different wiki server then, too. The old bookmark I had for Fanra's had changed. --Oxgoad (talk) 02:47, 3 October 2015 (EDT)

Campfires page getting too long[edit source]

Thanks for your work on the Campfires page. I've noticed that the page is getting too long. The recommended solution is to move some of the content to its own page. I think creating Campfire focus effects, Campfire melee focus effects, Campfire statistic effects, Campfire resistance effects, Campfire illusion effects, and Campfire stat/misc effects would be the way to go. The content would be moved to each page and a link to each one would be put on the Campfires page.

In order to move quickly and easily between each one, I can create a box like the one you see on the Items page to the right on the top of the page. It would be "Campfires" and then each type would have an entry. That would enable anyone to move between them easily. The box can also be placed on the Fellowships page under Campfire Effects.

Let me know what you think, either here or on my Talk page. Thanks. - Fanra (talk) 00:51, 15 October 2015 (EDT)

I agree. It's too much to scroll through as it currently stands. Creating a navigation box sounds like an ideal solution. --Oxgoad (talk) 14:44, 15 October 2015 (EDT)
Looks good now. :-) --Oxgoad (talk) 02:56, 16 October 2015 (EDT)

Zone Quick Facts[edit source]

Oxgoad,

Thanks for adding the Quick Facts to some zones. After looking over what you did, I decided it was a good idea. In fact, I decided to make a template for it.

Go here: Template:ZoneInfobox to see the documentation.

I'd like to make the template narrower, as it takes up too much space. Otherwise I like it. If you have any suggestions to improve it, please let me know.

Cool. FWIW, I copied the idea from Zam. I figured you would keep it or trash it, as you liked. ;-) --Oxgoad (talk) 20:40, 22 November 2015 (EST)
I couldn't get to the image for Sul Vius (Life) to work with the template. Perhaps it's too large? --Oxgoad (talk) 20:54, 22 November 2015 (EST)
The template was copied from the NPCInfobox and I removed the ability to use images but left over part of it in the documentation. So it can't do images. I could add the ability to do so but I think it is unnecessary. I've changed the documentation to remove the image stuff. Thanks for pointing that out. - Fanra (talk) 21:45, 22 November 2015 (EST)
I've added a few more facts to the Template:ZoneInfobox. Levitation, Banner/Campfire, and whether you can bind in the zone. I've also created a thread on the Daybreak forum about it. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this. — Fanra (talk) 12:18, 6 December 2015 (EST)
Cool. I got super busy in my offline life, so I missed everything from Frostfell to Brew Day, but I appreciate the improvements. --Oxgoad (talk) 18:31, 4 May 2016 (EDT)

Archive.org[edit source]

Thanks for showing how old abandoned information can be discovered. I'm going to grab what I can think of off there. Too bad Daybreak has no interest in preserving things. — Fanra (talk) 23:58, 4 May 2016 (EDT)

You're welcome. Information from the prior version of the website (pre-2012?) is harder to find, but that last version before Daybreak was apparently easier to crawl. --Oxgoad (talk) 02:26, 5 May 2016 (EDT)
