Power Sources[edit | edit source]

"Emberquartz" power sources drop from named mobs.

Collars of Legacies Lost[edit | edit source]

Main article: Collars of Legacies Lost

An evolving collar has a chance to appear in the chest in The Hero's Forge mission Heroes are Forged and the Pal'Lomen mission Final Fugue. As it evolves, it starts as Evolving: Level 1/2. To evolve it to level 2 requires wearing it and gaining experience. Once it has evolved to 2/2, achievements are needed to advance it to the next collar.

There are further advanced collars.

Elmara's Rings[edit | edit source]

Two rings, Lost and Found, are linked together. They share a Lore Group so you can only have one at a time. Linking your ring with the opposite one possessed by another character will permit you to port directly to the other character if in the same zone by clicking your ring.

They are each obtained by completing one of two The Hero's Forge quests from Elmara Emberclaw (Quests). The quest Lost in the Past (Allakhazam, EQ Resource) enables you to obtain Lost. Found in the Present (Allakhazam, EQ Resource) enables you to obtain Found.

Elmara offers these tasks after you complete Progression in The Hero's Forge. To attune the rings to each other, be near the other character, target them and click your ring. It will tell you if you're too far away. It will ask you "Do you want to attune to CHARACTERNAME?"

Lore[edit | edit source]

A door appears, and the heroes of Norrath walk through to find a warm and cozy-looking building. Light from the windows illuminates a clearing in a forest. Music and voices as well as the tantalizing smell of cooking meat and mead drift on the air. The inn’s presence invites adventurers to rest and revel after exhausting and dangerous exploits.

Welcome to the Realm of Heroes, the place where the greatest heroes go when their adventures are over. Nobody remembers the last time anyone entered or left this place. Can you discover what the mystery is that lies under the façade of comfort and revelry? Why is the Realm open now? Why was it closed for so long? To help you along the way, there are other doors within the inn that open onto memories of when someone proved that they are a hero. You can participate in those exploits and see how heroes of the past became the legends of today. This is the time for the current heroes of Norrath to show their worth and unravel the mystery that is the Realm of Heroes.
