Night of Shadows (NoS) is the expected name of EverQuest's 29th expansion. It has not yet been announced. Expected release in December 2022.

Getting to NoS
- The guild hall teleportation assistant sells placeholder for placeholder platinum pieces that will change the guild portal to teleport you to placeholder.
- Druids and Wizards have ports to placeholder. Self only at level placeholder, group and others at level placeholder. The spells are sold by placeholder in the placeholder for ~placeholder platinum each.
- placeholder - Claim item personal teleport device. Obtained with purchase of the Collector's, Premium, or Family & Friends Editions. Ports to placeholder.

Rank I

Rank II
Rank II spells are gotten by clicking placeholder drops from named mobs or randomly off of trash mobs.

Raid
Raid armor is known as 'placeholder. It is obtained by taking a raid dropped placeholder <slot name> Armor piece; along with an emblem of your class and a placeholder, both of which can be purchased from placeholder.
Tradeskilled (Visible armor)
There is both group and raid created armor.

Tradeskilled armor requires you to create a container called placeholder <slot> Armor.
In the container place an emblem for your class, placeholder, placeholder, and combine to make group gear. Use an emblem for your class, placeholder, placeholder, placeholder in the container to make raid gear.
The containers are consumed during the combine.

Extremely rare raid level items have a chance to drop off of mobs. The items are called placeholder.

NPCs do not drop items and gems who's sole purpose is to sell to NPC vendors.

If you're an All Access member, it appears that you get 10% off the cost of the expansion, however, this has not been publicly confirmed by Darkpaw (that I've seen).
For all editions, pre-orders get a placeholder and access to the beta server.

The price for the Standard Edition is $34.99. It contains all previous expansions content.
Collector's Edition
The price for the Collector's Edition is $69.99. It contains all previous expansions content as well as:
