Rallos Zek's Earring

A series of tradeskill quests create a Rallos Zek's Earring named <earring level> <class type> Earring of Rallos Zek, with it gaining power (and changing name) throughout the quest series. These quests are part of the Torment of Velious expansion. They are listed as achievements under Torment of Velious > Quests > Rallos Zek's Earring.

Quests

Each quest beyond the first requires a different ToV achievement completed before you can move on.

1. All Hail the Cleansing (EQ Resource)
2. Orcs on Ice (EQ Resource)
3. The Foundation (EQ Resource)
4. The Morale of Despair (EQ Resource) - Note that for this quest, if you once had the The Tower of Frozen Shadow (Torment of Velious) keys and no longer have them, you can click on each mirror on the floors needed and the quest should update.

6. Tactical Observations (EQ Resource)
7. Totality of War (EQ Resource) - Note that when you get to the step Seek an audience with Rallos Zek 0/1 (The Eastern Wastes), if you have already done this with someone else, you do not need to do this again. When Crusader Vraket offers to [prepare the way] and you tell him to prepare the way, he mentions you went with another and updates the quest.

Upon completing Totality of War, you will then have to complete the Conqueror of Torment of Velious achievement. Speak to Crusader Vraket (Quests) in The Eastern Wastes (Torment of Velious):

You say, 'All hail Rallos Zek'
Crusader Vraket says, 'All Hail Rallos Zek. You have blooded the complete symbol. You are done but you can do one more thing. This represents [your final service to Rallos Zek].'
You say, 'your final service to Rallos Zek'
Crusader Vraket says, 'Acquire a heart shard of the statue of Rallos Zek. With this, enhance your blooded righteous earring of Rallos Zek by merging the heart shard of the statue into the earring with an appropriate emblem then douse it with two vials of purified mana and cool it with two ice of Velious. You give proper honor to Rallos Zek.'
You have learned the recipe Endowed Mendicant's Earring of Rallos Zek!

Combine the final evolved earring with a Heart Shard of the Statue, 2 Ice of Velious, 2 Vial of Purified Mana and an appropriate archtype emblem using jewelry making. This will create the final Endowed earring based on your class.

New recipes

In addition to being granted the tradeskill recipes needed to complete the quests, you are also granted several other recipes for augmentations.

Midway through The Morale of Despair you are granted:

• You have learned the recipe Tenacious Supplicant's Earring of Rallos Zek! (Melee receive a different similar recipe)
• You have learned the recipe Enchanted Velium Clay!
• You have learned the recipe Unfired Velium Empowered Gem Crucible!
• You have learned the recipe Velium Empowered Gem of Freezing! (EQ Traders)
  • When creating the Velium Empowered Gem of Freezing, you are also required to create and use an Velium Infused Gem of Security to create it. You also can create an extra to wear.

Midway through Strategic Results you are granted the recipe for the next earring plus four power sources:

• You have learned the recipe Militant Mystic Earring of Rallos Zek! (Melee receive a different similar recipe)
• You have learned the recipe Velium Protector Source!
• You have learned the recipe Velium Mendicant Source!
• You have learned the recipe Velium Convoker Source!
• You have learned the recipe Velium Assaulter Source!

Near the end of Tactical Observations you are granted the recipe for the next earring plus some Type 18/19 augmentations :

• You have learned the recipe Wrathful Mystic Earring of Rallos Zek! (Non-priests receive a different but similar recipe)
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Assault!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Stealth!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Strategy!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Fortification!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Defense!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Attacker!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Assaulting Ice!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Defending Ice!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Ventral Defense!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Dorsal Defense!
• You have learned the recipe Rallos Zek Acolyte's Casting Ice!
