SOE Live

SOE Live is the name for what used to be called the Fan Faire.
Every year SOE had an event where players of their various games gather to discuss issues with the SOE staff and PARTY!
With the 2015 acquisition of SOE by Columbus Nova (becoming Daybreak Game Company), it was announced by Linda "Brasse" Carlson, Daybreak Community Manager, on her Facebook feed: "For those asking about SOE Live: we are taking a hiatus from our annual Live event to shift our focus to our exciting transition and the future of Daybreak Game Company."been announced there will be no SOE Live or similar official event in the future.
In 2015, an unofficial event was planned.
In 2020, Daybreak was sold to EG7 Global. I have not seen any announcement that I can recall changing their stance on Fan Faire.

For the past several years, SOE Live has hosted The EverQuest® Death, Death, Death Challenge which awards cash prizes.

For 2014 it took place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 14 – Aug. 17, 2014. Registration opened on April 4.

SOE Live All Access Pass purchasers[edit]
- Those who purchased an SOE Live All Access Pass will receive the Rain of Fear Standard edition at no extra cost. For an additional $20 they may pre-order the Digital Collector's Edition instead.
- All Access Pass purchasers will also receive a Bloodstained Contract. This item, once consumed, allows you to purchase a Vampire Mercenary from the special mercenaries vendor, Hadya Ware, in the Plane of Knowledge. Claim it in-game after Nov. 4, 2012.
- In Legends of Norrath, the in-game item is the Fancy Dress Only in-house painting. This item is delivered via a loot card. It doesn’t matter if you play EverQuest or EverQuest 2, this item is for you!
