Notes:

After studying the samples you brought to him, Illian has decided to pursue samples from the creatures near the fear portal. Start by heading down south and slay enough Bloodbone Skeletons to find 3 samples and then bring them back to Illian. Hail him and follow the dialog (ending with "second") and he gives you 2 water collection vessles. Head northwest to the waterfall and click the Azia collector, then head down to the western branch of the river to click the Beza collector. When you do so an awakened rot dog spawns and attacks. Dispatch it, loot the head, and return to Illian, giving him the head and both water samples. Lastly he sends you back south to investigate the gate (the entrance to House of Thule), after getting the update report back to complete the task.
