Speak to Xilixizan - Miragul's Nightmare

To get this quest you need to pick up the "A Mysterious Sword" and right click it.

The sword whispers its hatred for the shadows and compels you to destroy them. Start with 4 each of sorrowful and stalking shades and 4 pools. At that point the sword yearns for its former owner, Xilixizan. The former owner is less than pleased to see the sword and tells you how the sword consumed him and left him as a shade. He requests you destroy the sword by collecting globes of pure light from the forgotten guardians in the palace. Head north and loot a globe (not prelootable). Then chat with Xilixizan and he tells you to put the orb inside a chest to the east. Clear the area around the chest and then "Give" it the orb (it isn't a container), then "give" it the sword. At this point a shadowed beast spawns and attacks, kill it. Lastly hail Xilixizan to complete the task.
