Say "prepared" to zone into instance.

Reklor Irespine believes the sentry stones must be destroyed, and wants you to do it. Once you enter the instance hail the sentry and an Avatar spawns and attacks. It alternates between Avatar of Ladrys and Avatar of Sholoth. When in Ladrys form it has Aura of Resplendence, a spell slow, and spawns adds called "inner darkness" which look just like you. The "inner darkness" becomes unstable and cast a 43k dd and blind when they despawn. It also casts Purification, a silence and 60% chance to dispel two slots. When in Sholoth form it has Aura of Decay, a 40% melee slow and casts Wave of Filth, a 27k dd, flux, and melee inhibiter. You will need to take the avatar to 75%, at which point it FD's.

Next you must defeat the Shadow of Decay and Vision of Splendor. Go towards one of the sentry stones and you're ported to one or the other. You can do them in either order. Decay hits for 12.7k and casts Rot, 14k dot which changes to a 8400 dot, 40% melee slow, and zombie illusion when it fades. You need to stay in zombie illusion to damage it. Splendor also hits 12.7k and casts Purification. However, it can't be hurt unless one player in the room is completely buffless.

With both defeated, return to the center and take the Avatar down to 50%. Then go back to sides and kill Decay and Splendor again. This time one member will need to jump out of the window when they get an emote before Shadow of Decay can be hurt, the jumper will be ported back up. For Splendor it randomly dispels people and casts Filth, a 27k dot. You will have to move toward a sentry stone that spawns in the room to cure. If you don't Splendor regenerates.

With both defeated, return to the center and take the Avatar down to 25%. Then go back to sides and kill Decay and Splendor a third time. This time Decay has adds as well as giving one person a book. The person with the book must target someone and click the book to pass it, which also dots the clicker with Chant of Decay, a 2 tick 11k dot. At random Decay checks to see if any don't have the dot, and if not it begins to regenerate quickly. Splendor does pretty much the same thing.

With both defeated, the task locks. Return to the center and kill the Avatar. Open the chest to complete the mission.
