Editing Veteran Rewards

'''Veteran Rewards''' were bonuses granted to accounts based on how long your account was active.  For every year the account had been active, you gained a veteran reward, up to fourteen rewards. Veteran Rewards can be found in-game in the Alternate Advancement (AA) Window in the Special tab.

As of the March 11, 2020 game update, all Veteran Rewards are available to all characters regardless of account length.  On Progression servers, these abilities will continue to unlock starting with ''[[Dragons of Norrath]]'' up through ''[[Veil of Alaris]]''.

In order to activate them on a character, you need to go to the AA Window (default key "V"), Special tab, and Train them.  There is no AA cost to train them and you can do so at level 1 and above.

<strike>Veteran rewards are per character and when you log in, if you have them available to apply, you'll get a message in your chat window. It is recommended that you pick the character(s) you plan on playing the most and are least likely to stop playing, before you accept the veteran reward.</strike>

<strike>You can claim the rewards on the number of characters that match your account time. So if you have five years on your account, you can claim the rewards 1st year through 5th year on five characters. If you delete one of the characters you claimed rewards on, you don't get that claim back.</strike>

* 1st year -- '''Lesson of the Devoted:''' The player is surrounded by a beautiful blue/white glow as they gain double experience for half an hour once every 20 hours.

* 2nd year -- '''Infusion of the Faithful:''' Usable once every 20 hours, the player enjoys maximum resistances, statistics and a faster run speed for 15 minutes while he glows brightly with power.
       
* 3rd year -- '''Chaotic Jester:''' Usable once every 20 hours, this summons a Bristlebane puppet that persists for 15 minutes or until you zone. Bristlebane will randomly cast various spells that provide benefits or minor penalties. His wry sense of humor is sure to get you noticed at that next gathering! 
       
* 4th year -- '''Expedient Recovery:''' Usable just under once per week, all the player’s corpses are summoned to their feet and given 100% experience resurrection if they are still eligible. This reward is very handy to use for those difficult situations where getting a resurrection is inconvenient.
