| The Tear is an item that fits in your Face, Ammo, or Charm slot and grants you a bonus to you Defense skill. It has 20 levels to evolve and when it reaches level 20, you can convert it into a [[Type 3 augmentations|Type 3 augmentation]], with additional bonuses. It must be equipped to gain experience to evolve, and to grant you the bonus(es).
