| Binding is where you set various locations for your character. For most characters, the only one that matters is the first location, which is the place you respawn when you die. Druids and Wizards can set other points for teleporting purposes.

|

| == Where you can ==
| |
| Casters and priests can bind in most places using the spell Bind Affinity. They may also bind other players. Tanks and melee can only bind themselves by speaking to a Soulbinder NPC, who are located in city zones.
| |
|
| |
| The Lost Dungeons of Norrath camps permit binding. The message, "You have entered an area where Bind Affinity is allowed.", appears upon entering and, "You have exited the area where Bind Affinity is allowed.", when leaving.
| |
|
| |
| Some areas prohibit binding.
| |
|
| |
| === Prohibited areas ===

| |
| * Basilica of Adumbration

| |
| * Kedge Keep
| |
| * Nagafen's Lair
| |
