This is a listing and explanation of some factions in Rain of Fear. For additional information on raising and lowering factions, as well as how it relates to the zone mobs, see the Factions section in various zone articles.


  • Apparitions of Fear - Might be the prowlers (dark wolves) in Kael Drakkel: The King's Madness.
  • Beetles of Shard's Landing - Self explanatory.
  • Crystal Circle Builders - This faction may be raised by doing the Fear Shard Collection quest, among other possible ways.
  • Dragon Death Keep - This appears to be storm giants in Kael Drakkel: The King's Madness. It can be raised by killing frost giants there.
  • Harbingers of Thule - This is the faction of the NPCs at Harbinger's Outpost in Shard's Landing. Doing quests for them improves this faction.
  • Hunters of Shard's Landing - Obtaining maximum faction [7000] with this faction gains you the Conquest achievement "Dedicated Harbinger of Fashion".
  • Iceshard Manor - This appears to be frost giants in Kael Drakkel: The King's Madness. It can be raised by killing storm giants there.
