For information on and downloads of in-game maps, see Maps.

Before in-game maps were added to EQ, players used to have to play with no maps, or find or create their own maps.

Several web sites existed to provide maps to the zones. One of the best was EQ Atlas. EQ Atlas is now gone.

However, some of the maps from the site still exist.

tessmage.com has mirrored the EQ Atlas site.

In addition, some of the maps are mirrored here.
