Visible armor

  • Allakhazam: Night of Shadows Armor Guide
  • EQ Resource: Group Armor
  • EQ Resource: Raid Armor

Group

Tier 1 gear is called placeholder, obtained by taking a dropped placeholder <slot name> Armor piece; along with an emblem of your class and <placeholder>

Raid

Raid armor is known as placeholder. It is obtained by taking a raid dropped placeholder <slot name> Armor piece; along with an emblem of your class and Spiritual Luminosity Honed Luclinite, both of which can be purchased from Chialle (Merchant) in Shar Vahl, Divided.

Tradeskilled (Visible armor)

There is both group and raid created armor.

<information below needs to be updated and clarified>

Tradeskilled armor requires you to create a container called placeholder <slot> Armor.

In the container place an emblem for your class, Luclinite Enrichment Medium, placeholder, and combine to make group gear. Use an emblem for your class, placeholder, Luclinite Enduement Medium, placeholder in the container to make raid gear.

The containers are consumed during the combine.

Tradeskilled

Tradeskilled items are called Phantasmal Luclinite (group) and Spectral Luclinite (raid). They are created by taking a player made Spiritually Faded Luclinite <slotname> item and combining (no fail) with either a Otherworldly <slotname> item (group) or Apparitional <slotname> item (raid) and Spiritual Luclinite Powder. Group items are approximately 10.7k HP, Mana, End. Raid items are approximately 14k HP, Mana, End.

Power Sources

Luclin Power Source can drop from named (rare) mobs. In addition, you can buy some power sources from a mysterious presence (Overseer Merchant) in the Plane of Knowledge for about 15,000 Overseer Tetradrachm.

Evolving

An evolving item has a chance to drop off of mobs in the Ruins of Shadow Haven mission When One Door Closes.

  • Lucent Cloak of the Selenelion - Base item
    • Evolves into Aged Lucent Cloak of the Selenelion
      • Evolves into Vivid Cloak of the Selenelion

It appears in order to evolve this, both experience and achievements will be needed. For the best version, all achievements in NoS may be required.

Vendor trash

NPCs do not drop items and gems who's sole purpose is to sell to NPC vendors.

Vendor trash is no more. With Luck, coin is the way to go since luck does not affect vendor trash.

Norrathians have ended the conflict between Mayong Mistmoore and Luclin herself, but can they relax their vigilance? The recent attention of Luclin has emboldened the Akheva, and they continue their plans to conquer the moon!

Shadow Haven in ruins, Shar Vhal in complete turmoil, and a recent earthquake that opened a pass in Firefall.

As war rages across the surface of Luclin, disaster has befallen Shadow Haven deep below. The mysterious sealed door has been smashed open, and the great spirit trapped behind it has rampaged through the city, leaving death and destruction before retreating to the unknown caverns it escaped from. What maddened the spirits? How can the Akheva be stopped? Can Shar Vahl survive as war threatens to engulf the city? The truth lies in the shadows -- will you survive to find it?
